    The bad economy isn’t good for any business or economic activity, and it’s certainly not proving to be good for historic preservation and restoration. Maybe in the longer term, after conditions improve, that will prove to be the case, but, frankly, I think it’s a tossup.

    Preservation is a group of ideas whose time came–yesterday. Now it’s time to move on.
